I'm trying to complete Ocarina of Time for the second time, and I just recently defeated the adult water temple.
What's up with Zelda games, and hard water temples, hm? They don't have to be the hardest! What about fire temples? You could make them harder. Those are usually easy-peasy for me.
Anyway, after the water temple, I went to Kakariko village, 'cause it told me too. Learned the song, got the Lens of Truth as a kid, and set off for the temple.
Oh. My. Gosh.
I don't remember it being that scary! I swear, the music alone was enough to make me doo-doo in my pants if I had it louder!
I defeated Dead hand, or head, or whatever, again, and got the hover boots, which I proceeded to never take off.
That's another problem with the water temple, they could have made the iron boots an item, like in Twilight Princess, and saved us a bunch of time in the water temple!
Well, I got to the room with the eyeball, and that's when things started going down-hill.
See, I did the two rooms on the side, but through the middle door, it gets real creepy. Guillotines, spiders everywhere, slightly creepier music, if that's possible.
But the worst, the worst, was that the hand was there. You know, the hand that's in the adult Forrest temple? I proceeded to go "Oh, crap. Oh, crap!" and ran around like a chicken with my head cut off. I died, got back to the beginning of the room, used the green wind stuff, which name's escaping me, and saved.
My mom said I had some time left, so I tried to go do some Gerudo stuff, to get to the temple there, right? Wrong.
None of the guys were in prison, so I was just wandering around like a fool in an empty prison, getting caught every so often.
Maybe I need to go back to the Shadow temple, and face my biggest fear in the whole game of Zelda...
